Mrs. Sumithra Viswanathan the school's first Principal, under whose able administration, the school grew up by leaps and bounds. Subsequently, under the sound guidance and yeomen service of Shri. Bhagwandas Gopaldas Lund the school upgraded into a higher secondary school
The school with an initial strength of 39 grew from strength to strength to reach its present strength of over 762 children. The traditions and ideas of our predecessors have been ably supported by the Trust members and carried forward by Shri. Kamlesh. V. Raheja the current correspondent and Mrs. Bagyalakshmi Srinivasan ,the Principal.
The school boasts of a well equipped library, a spacious auditorium where several functions have been held, a basket ball court-the pride of the school, where several District level competitions have been conducted and a well equipped science and computer laboratory with over 40 systems to impart eduation from class III to class VIII.
Quality education is imparted to all students right from the kinder garten stage. To ensure a sound foundation the nursery teachers continually update themselves and also maintain a separate library for the tiny tots. Currently the entire nursery block is being reconstructed to ensure more comfortable surroundings for the children.
Sindhi International not only believes in academic excellence but also in extra curricular activities for its kids. The school has won several laurels having talented students who have excelled in various fields at State and National levels. It has an active sports committee guiding and moulding children to succeed in the sporting area.
All the activities of the school are monitored by a forum of the working committee members to facilitate effective functioning. Experienced and enthusiastic members co-ordinate and contribute to the proceedings of the school.
