The curriculum for the students has been set up in such a way that it develops a strong foundation of computer knowledge. Students have computer classes right from the beginning of their schooling i.e from Grade I whereby they are taught how to work on a computer in a play way method. There is advancement in the educational programs as their grades ascend.
Programming concepts are introduced in the primary sections with the help of flow charts. This helps them to be well versed with the process of logically solving the problem. Simple programming language called LOGO is taught to the lower grades so that they become familiar with programming. The students are also taught to work in Windows operating system. They are also trained in MS-office whereby they are to work in the word processors as MS-Word, in spreadsheets as MS-Excel and also to create various presentations using MS-PowerPoint. They are also taught to work in Internet, whereby they come to know how to have their own Email Id and how to access it.
The programming level is slowly increased to QBasic as they enter into the middle school level. This gives them knowledge of the basic format of most of the programming language like how to use a variable, a constant, the various data types and operators and how to use the looping and control statements. They are also made to learn the working of databases with MS-Access.
The higher grades are now ready to be working with the Complete MS-Office, Windows 7 Operating System, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Flash and internet. The syllabus is based on the CBSE pattern.
